All of the joinery at Charters is bespoke, designed to follow the ‘tri-tier’ art deco styling that was incorporated into the Mansion when the house was constructed. The highest quality of Black Walnut was selected to be used, sourced direct from the U.S.A. The refurbishment of The Mansion, and the construction of The Court House and The Garden House required over 600 rebated door frames to be made, along with 8,400 metres of architrave, 6,000 metres of skirting and over 2,400 plinth blocks – all designed with the specially commissioned ‘tri-tier’ profiles.
